Some of the more common problems faced by those not familiar
with the use of ceramic toolbits are:

Cracking or Breaking
insert surfaces not flat
insert not seated solidly

lack of rigidity in setup
speed too slow
too much variation in depth of cut
chatter
grinding cracks
